Most of my friends would know how much I hated being in China/HK after my recent business trip, and it has been 2 weeks since I came back.
These are the few things that I have encountered while in China.
- People are rude as usual, talking loudly, and always insisting that they are right
- China people are not very helpful because I asked for the way in Shanghai (plus, it was at The Bund), the customer service didn’t even take a look at the map, and just say that he can’t see.
- The pronunciation and terms we used in Singapore are alien to the people in China.
- Just because I can speak Mandarin, they will assume that you are one of them.
There are more I would want to list out, but if I were to list out, it will make me look bad, and no doubt this trip has left me abit scarred, and I don’t think I would want to travel to China/HK anymore for the time being, I would say that there is a minority of them are very helpful. Probably because they see us as possible “investors”.
Will do a proper post for the trip with the food pictures, but I will combine them into 2 to 3 post because most of the time I was working.
