Have yet to blog about my trip down to Kawagoe last year. Went to Kawagoe and I’m totally loving it!
Its pretty easy to get to Kawagoe. The fastest way is to take the Tobu Tojo Line from Ikebukuro! The express train takes about 31 minutes to arrive, and you have to stop at Kawagoe station.
Met one of my friend in Ikebukuro, and then we headed over to Kawagoe!
Kawagoe is actually an old town, retaining the old history and culture of Edo, Koedo Kawagoe!
Once you reach the station, turn out to the left and head down the stairs and then to your right to find a small bus-stop with a red sign.
The bus will take you around Kawagoe and you can get a round trip ticket, which saves alot of money by taking single rides within Kawagoe.
There are many sightseeing places in Kawagoe such as the ‘Toki no Kane’, ‘Kashiya Yokocho’ and the ‘Kita-in Temple’. I managed to head to all 3 sightseeing places within 1/2 day.
Was there really early, so there wasn’t much people inside.
Despite the weather being cold, I still went to eat the ice cream! xD
Then we head off to the Toki no Kane!
Do make a trip down to Kawagoe and have loads of fun there!!
