Had awesome gyozas at Gyoza no Fukuho (餃子の福包) at Nakameguro outlet last Saturday with my new-found Singaporean friends in Japan!
Caught “Isn’t it Romantic” on Netflix last Friday when it was released, and I would definitely give thumbs up to this original movie!
Isn’t this a beauty? It seems like “Dad Sneakers” are the “IN” thing now, and GU, a sister brand of Uniqlo is selling something similar!
I was attracted to this when I saw some of my friends’ friend wearing the Balenciaga’s version of “Dad Sneakers”, so I decided to get one since my black Adidas sneaker was a little torn.
I’ve gotten mine from GU, and I am totally sold to this item!
Despite the low price, the shoes are really comfy and have a cushion to support your soles. Usually, when I walk fast or even run, I can feel my soles are really tired and sore without the sole support.
Here is a side view of the shoes that I’ve bought.
(Sorry for the messy background!)
The shoes come in 4 sizes, namely S, M, L and XL. I’m a size 6.5 to 7, and am wearing L size.
The price is not that expensive, and you can get it at any GU outlets in Japan.
Finally bought a new office gaming chair from Amazon Japan, and it’s the “GTRACING Office Gaming Chair“!
I have been wanting to get a proper chair since E (nickname for le bf) only provided me with a foldable chair.
I was getting backaches from the foldable chair, and I ended up slouching on the computer table whenever I play games, watch Youtube/Netflix or do some freelance work.
So, I waited till I had enough savings to buy this chair, and it was relatively affordable, at ￥17,770 on Amazon Japan! Further more, there was a ￥1,000 yen discount, and I had a gift card which I used to offset the remaining balance.
When the delivery came, the box is pretty huge, and it is definitely not easy to carry it. E and I had a small quarrel that morning when the box came because I wanted to fix up the chair as soon as possible while he insisted on having his breakfast. So, I grumbled while trying to fix the chair until he reluctantly comes to help after hearing me grumble.
The chair isn’t that easy to set up especially on the connection part between the seat and the backrest. I’m not sure how people can manage to do it alone, but I guess I needed someone to help me out.
I took around 1.5 hours to fix up the chair because I accidentally broke a part of the hanging rack previously. And affixing the castors was “not easy”. E tried to force in the castors but failed terribly. In the end, all it needed was a push.
On the overall, I find that it is pretty good for now despite the price sold on Amazon Japan, because brands like SecretLab and AKRACING are pretty expensive.
Hope this review has helped if you’re thinking of getting a gaming chair in Japan!
