Last weekend, I went to Asakusabashi, and while shopping, my Singaporean friend, HS, wanted to find a cafe for lunch, so HS brought me to Tomoyasu Seisaku Cafe (友安製作所カフェ).
Tomoyasu Seisaku Cafe, located about 5 mins away from JR Asakusabashi, is an interior and DIY cafe, serving you food, desserts, drinks, and even some their handicraft items, such as removable tiled walls, mugs and many more. Not only that, I just realized that they even hold workshops at the cafe!
The interior of the cafe is really big, split into 2 levels. First level is mainly for dining, and Second level is a space for you workshops.
Food wise, I totally like how they plate and present their menu to you!
HS ordered the “One plate dish roast-beef with colorful vegetables”, and I ordered “Today’s Pasta”, which was Mentaiko Pasta with Asparagus and Squid. The sets come a free drink cup of drink, where you can request it to be served to you after your meal. Also, soups and water are self-service at the counter.
See how beautifully they plate the food? Food was yummy, and I close to ordering another meal. There were many other delicious food such as their “Today’s Rice”, which was Taco Rice for that day. The Taco Rice was topped off with an onsen tamago!
We stayed for nearly an hour in the cafe chit-chatting, and that place is pretty good for chilling out!
