On my trip to Bangkok, I went to Forest Bake for breakfast, which was highly raved by NOC’s video on 25 Best Things to Do in Bangkok. And bestie wanted to go too, so we decided to take a grab down from the hotel we were staying to the cafe.
Our grab ride from the hotel (P2 Boutique Hotel) was cancelled a few times, and thankfully a driver nearby decided to take our request.
The ride costs about less than 200THB to the cafe, and it is located in a small alley.
We went there pretty early and though we were not the first to reach (there was a media group before us), there were loads of sweet and savory food for us to choose. Don’t worry if you’ll be late because I think they will replenish it!
There were quite a selection of sweet stuff as compared to the savory stuff. And here you get to pick your own dessert! Their friendly staff will help you if you’re having difficulty to pick up the cakes.
When we went, there was a promotion of 2 + 1 going on. This means that you get to get your third dessert on the house!
So me and bestie decided to get these 3 each!
The top tray belongs to bestie where she got herself a Red Berries Tart, a Cracked Crinkle (I think), and a mint chocolate cake. For me (the one on the lower tray), I got a Ham Cheese Bun (a savory pastry to reduce the sweetness), a Coconut Candan cake, and their signature Fox Tales carrot cake.
I actually preferred the Coconut Pandan cake instead of their signature cake, the Fox Tales Carrot Cake! Their Fox Tales Carrot Cake was nice at first, but I guess it gets sweeter with every bite. Whereas, the The bread was nice but it hardens when it turns cold.
I also ordered a cup of latte while bestie ordered a bottle of mineral water. Their cup designs are really cute!
And one more thing to note, is their toilet! (Sorry no pictures). It’s not the main highlight, but it’s really pretty! Take a look when you’re there!
So if you’re looking for something sweet to eat in the morning (can be anytime of the day) and have nothing to do, then I do recommend this place as you can chill there!
