Ever want to toast your bread in a restaurant, and trying out different jams to find that perfect jam? If yes, then I would certainly recommend CENTRE THE BAKERY, a bakery shop in Ginza-itchome!
Arrived there a little late, and had to queue for nearly 1.5 hrs to get in. So while waiting, me and my fashionable friend decided to do some selfie!
Do take note that there are 2 queues, mainly to dine at the restaurant, and to purchase their bread back and enjoy it at home.
Here you can get to choose the toaster you would like to use, and my fashionable friend chose the red Delonghi toaster!
There are 3 types of bread, which is JP, NA and EB. JP is bread made of flour produced in Japan. NA is bread made of flour produced in America, and EB is English bread made with a tip that resembles a mountain.
I have no preference over the three types of bread, but what I’m going to introduce next to everyone is the jam!
Starting from the top left corner to the right bottom corner are Black Currant Jam, Orange Marmalade, Strawberry Jam, White Chocolate, Peanut Butter and Honey.
And my favorite among the 6 jams is…Peanut Butter! I know it is weird hearing me say that I like peanut butter among the rest when I really do not like peanut butter at all. But the peanut butter that is served is simply way too AWESOME!
Definitely recommending everyone to try the bread with their peanut butter!
We also ordered a cheese toast, a Soup of the Day (Potato soup), a Madam Croque and a Tonkatsu Sandwich!
The Cheese Toast
Potato Soup which was really creamy!
This place is worth the try and I’m definitely recommending this place if you’re around Ginza/Yurakucho area!
