Decided to meet up with a friend for lunch at Amoy Street after my appointment at One George Street during one of my off days from work! Had wanted to try Aloha Poke for the longest time but couldn’t go due to work commitments and of course my work location.
Since my friend, Amannda is also working around that area, I decided to ask her out for lunch! And then I decided to try this since it is really nearby her workplace!
I sort of customized my poke bowl with the following ingredients:
-Wasabi Mayo Tuna
-Seasonal Salmon (it was the Mentaiko Salmon)
-Brown Rice base
-Flying Fish Roe
You can customized your poke bowl with salads too! But I didn’t had my breakfast before that, so I decided to get their brown rice, which was equally nice! On top of that, I tried their Konbu (seaweed) soup to compliment with my poke bowl, and it was way too yummy! I took the standard sizing, and it was more than enough to fill up my hungry stomach!
For the price, I think that to get so much ingredients filled up the bowl, it is really well worth the money, and of course not to mention their freshness of their tuna and salmon! It is hard to get fresh tuna and salmon at that price, and I really do not mind eating this like every 2 months, but sadly, I can only go there during my off days or weekends.
