Have went over to Nesuto twice with 2 groups of friends, and as usual, their selection of cakes and tea were awesome to the extent that I had a hard time deciding what to get when I went there.
I went there early, without any lunch, thinking to avoid the lunch crowd, and I was all alone in the space enjoying the tranquility, and of course the soft music played in the cafe.
For the first time, I ordered the “Mmm’ chocolate cake, which was rich in chocolate, and then the Yuzu Raspberry cake which is still my favorite for now!
I won’t say I don’t like the ‘Mmm’ chocolate cake, but I guess it was too rich for my liking, and not to worry, they used valrhona chocolate, which I really like it alot! The first few bites are really yummy, but after that I guess it got too rich for my liking. But fret not, you can always drink the cup of tea from An Tea Social to clear the rich chocolate taste, and start eating the cake again!
Personally I prefer the Yuzu Raspberry as it has a very light and refreshing taste, and I’m definitely sure that this will be a hit among the ladies! Though the raspberry is abit sour, the light yuzu cream that is applied on each layer of the cake compliments well with the raspberry, creating a refreshing and sour taste, tantalizing your tastebuds, wanting you to eat more of their cake!
One more cake I would like to recommend is their C3: Cheesecake which I have tried out during my 2nd visit to Nesuto
I guess everyone will be thinking “Cheesecake is common”, but you’re so wrong!! The cheesecake here is even better than others as the cheese is really creamy and rich in taste, and on top of that the cookie base is salted! It is indeed a perfect of sweet and salted taste! However, I’m not a big fan of rich or creamy stuff, my number 1 recommendation has to be the Yuzu Raspberry!
As for the tea selection from An Tea Social, I personally recommend their lychee oolong because it is really light and of course the scent is really sweet! I personally bought 1 pack of their lychee oolong so I can get to enjoy it at home too! They do have other tea selections such as the peach oolong, and many more! These tea are from Taiwan!
Well, that’s about it for my review on Nesuto cafe!
Can’t wait to try their other selection of cakes!
