Guess what?! Tokyu Hands have finally opened it first shop in Westgate, Singapore!!
I’m quite a big fan of Tokyu Hands, and whenever I visit Japan, I’m sure to head down to Ikebukuro’s Tokyu Hands/Fukuoka’s Hakata Station Tokyu Hands to look out for new and interesting items~
As it is the first flagship store of Tokyu Hands in Singapore, I do have high expectations on what they will bring in. I don’t really expect them to bring everything (coz Tokyu Hands in Japan has its own building/co-shared, and it has like 8 levels of items for you to slowly browse through!), but their selection of goods was pretty average. Was hoping that they can bring in more goods such as planners/diaries for 2015, some cooking stuff such as cute bentos, fry pans and etc, bags and of course, more electrical beauty goods~
Tokyu Hands is actually located right behind Tim Ho Wan, the famous HK Dim Sum restaurant.
The shop isn’t as big as what I thought, but still, it does have things that I needed, such as Campus A5 notebooks, which Orchard’s Kinokuniya doesn’t even bring them (I wonder why?), Rootote Tote Bags (and you can even customise your very own Rootote tote bag!! I was very much tempted to get another Rootote Tote Bag when I went on the second day!!!!), B-side Label stickers (They are super cute, and of coz hilarious if you understand Japanese. I managed to get one super cute rabbit sticker which says something along the lines of “I’m too tired to work”), and not forgetting the cosmetics from Japan. I do hope that they can bring in more stuff, especially on the planners/diaries since Japan always start selling their planners/diaries from September (and their collection is seriously HUMONGOUS!!!) , and more cute bento stuff!!!
Well, that’s my review on Tokyu Hands~
Tokyu Hands will be opening their 2nd outlet in Orchard Central around Nov’14. Heard that it will be bigger than the first outlet!!! Hope that they will bring in more interesting stuff!!
